Moment wireless IFE now in service on eight Air Caraïbes and Atlantic Airways aircraft

Moment has signed agreements with Air Caraïbes and Atlantic Airways to provide wireless inflight entertainment, with the service already operating on eight aircraft. Four Air Caraïbes ATR 72s use the Flymingo Box to stream content to passengers’ personal devices, while four Atlantic Airways Airbus A320s combine the system with Moment’s Mood platform, branded as Atlantic Connect. Neither deployment requires traditional seatback screens.

Air Caraïbes uses a battery-powered Flymingo Box on ATR 72s serving Caribbean routes that include Pointe-à-Pitre, Fort-de-France and Saint-Martin. The aircraft had no inflight entertainment before the installation. Its catalogue is available in English and French and includes films, series, children’s content, podcasts, games and digital press.

On Atlantic Airways’ A320s, the aircraft-powered system supports Atlantic Connect, which brings entertainment and other digital services together onboard. The Faroe Islands’ national carrier offers content in English, French, German, Spanish and Faroese. Its network from Vágar includes Paris, London, Oslo, Copenhagen and Edinburgh.

The deployments provide wireless entertainment across the two airlines’ regional and island networks. Contract values, agreement terms and rollout dates were not disclosed.
