Air Montenegro will begin year-round flights between Podgorica and Brussels on 30 November, operating three times a week in both directions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The service is one of five routes the Montenegrin carrier is introducing under a one-year Public Service Obligation programme. Zagreb flights start on 26 November, Frankfurt on 4 December, and Paris Charles de Gaulle and Bari on 17 December; tickets are on sale.
Each route is scheduled to operate three times weekly throughout the year. Air Montenegro was the sole bidder for the five services, whose combined estimated contract value is €4.79 million excluding VAT. The Brussels route accounts for an estimated €1.49 million. These figures are programme estimates, not confirmed payments in full.
The new routes will provide year-round scheduled links from Podgorica to five European cities. The available programme details do not explain the selection of the destinations or provide further information on the contract award process.
