Sorg joined the group in 2001 as a management trainee and has held financial and leadership positions across its businesses. Her experience includes roles at Diehl Metering in Germany and France. In 2022, she moved to the group headquarters to lead Corporate Controlling.
Diehl Aviation employs more than 5,600 people and supplies aircraft manufacturers including Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier and Embraer, alongside other aviation customers. The company described the change as providing continuity in its financial leadership. It disclosed no financial or strategic changes associated with the appointment.
