Ryanair to retain Paderborn-Lippstadt routes to Alicante and Málaga in summer 2027

Ryanair will continue flying from Paderborn-Lippstadt to Alicante and Málaga during the summer 2027 season, maintaining both Spanish routes at two flights a week. The services are scheduled to operate from April to October, with Alicante flights on Wednesdays and Sundays and Málaga flights on Mondays and Thursdays. The continuation follows discussions between the airline and the German airport, which will retain both direct links for the season.

Paderborn-Lippstadt’s chairman, Christoph Rüther, and managing director, Roland Hüser, attributed the outcome to negotiations with Ryanair and pointed to strong aircraft loads as evidence of demand. The airport serves a regional catchment in western Germany; the routes offer links to two Spanish destinations used by leisure and business travellers.

Ryanair has withdrawn from several German airports. Its DACH marketing and communications head, Marcel Pouchain Meyer, has tied further growth, new routes and investment in Germany to lower aviation taxes and access costs. That remains the airline’s position; no policy change is part of the schedule announcement. The airport has not provided flight times, aircraft allocation, capacity or fares for the 2027 services.
