ORIX Aviation completes AerFin acquisition

ORIX Aviation Systems completed its acquisition of UK-based aviation aftermarket company AerFin on 2 November, after securing regulatory approvals and satisfying customary closing conditions. The Dublin-based aircraft lessor and asset manager, a subsidiary of Japan’s ORIX Corporation, has not disclosed the purchase price. AerFin will join ORIX Aviation while continuing to operate under its established brand.

The acquisition adds AerFin’s aircraft and engine disassembly, component management, maintenance, and serviceable-parts sales and leasing activities to ORIX Aviation’s leasing and asset-management operations. The combined businesses span aircraft leasing, asset management, component support and aftermarket services.

ORIX Aviation owns and manages more than 230 aircraft and leases to over 60 airline customers in more than 40 countries. Established in 2010, AerFin serves airlines, maintenance providers and lessors across six continents.
